Vessel is now undergoing refit and is lying in Portsmouth, Hants.

 

Equinox Construction

These are some pictures showing the construction progress from timber frame work through to painted vessel.

Construction begins 1995. Here the oak timber frame is created first.
Strips of larch timber are steamed to allow them to be bent into shape to be fitted onto the frame. Steaming the Larch

Pre launch Just prior to launching. After launching, the remaining interior fittings are added at specialists in Portsmouth.
Just after launch, Polruan June 1996. After this, she was towed up to Portsmouth for fitting out.
Just born
Ready for action Leaving the Camber docks in Old Portsmouth after being fitted out.
Equinox out of refit at Alan Tom's Yard in Polruan on 10th June 2002.
